RPL or Recognition of Prior Learning is the process of recognising ones skill and experience and in turn providing a relevant Qualification in recognition of the applicants skills. SolveQ has access to many different qualifications upto Advanced Diploma Level that can be obtained in a couple of weeks!

SolveQ will take into the following areas to obtain your AQF Qualification:

  1. Existing work experience. You experience at work, the experience may be formal, informal, voluntary, paid, casual, full time or part time. SolveQ will assist in mapping your skills, for example in many cases you may believe you have worked as only  labourer. However, when looking at your skills we may be able to use that experience for a trade such as “Painter” or “Plasterer”. 
  2. Existing qualifications. You may have completed courses in Australia or overseas that provide you with a certain skillset or knowledge.  
  3. Life skills and experience. If your family has a construction company, we can obtain reference letters from your family to certify certain trade skills. 

SolveQ is not an RTO or a college, we are in independent division within Solve Law that provides experience skill assessors to map your skills to the requirements of our panel of RTO’s. We provide you a fixed fee guaranteed price for the qualification and our staff who will manage your file are the same staff who have been organising migration skills assessments for thousands of applicants! Our speciality area is dealing with Australian Skill Assessment Authorities such as Trade Recognition Australia (TRA), the Australian Computer Society (ACS) and the VETASSESS. We look after the whole process and are able to filter your application and correct errors in your application.

SolveQ was born out of the high demand of RPL qualifications required for our clients skill assessments or visa applications. Many of our clients found that there RPL providers were too slow or unreliable so we took over the process and found that as we had mastered the art of skilled visa applications, we could do a better job than the traditional RPL providers. 

RPL qualifications are able to assist in a variety of immigration matters, including:

Subclass 482/186 employer sponsored applications: Where an applicant is required to provide “post qualification” experience, we can assist in obtaining a qualification to allow the applicants experience to be counted. 

Migration Skills Assessment: For example in many trade assessment, applicants only require 3 years experience for a skills assessment where a qualification in the field is obtained as apposed to 5 years without a qualification. An RPL qualification will lower the required experience needed.
